1. About RunClubs

RunClubs (runclubs.nl) is a platform for discovering and joining run clubs and community runs in the Netherlands. RunClubs.nl is a trade name (handelsnaam) of Uncode, operated by Rick Bossenbroek, based in the Netherlands.

By using RunClubs, you agree to these terms.

2. Using the platform

RunClubs is free to use. You can browse clubs and runs without an account. To join runs, create clubs, or build a runner profile, you need to sign up.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when creating your account.
• Keep your login credentials secure.
• Use the platform in good faith and respect other community members.
• Not misuse the platform (e.g., spam, scraping, impersonation).

We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for all activity under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately at rick@runclubs.nl.

You can delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

4. Content

You retain ownership of any content you post on RunClubs (e.g., club descriptions, run details, profile information). By posting content, you grant RunClubs a non-exclusive license to display it on the platform.

We reserve the right to remove content that is offensive, misleading, or violates these terms.

5. Runs and participation

RunClubs is a platform that connects runners with community runs. We do not organize the runs ourselves. Run organizers are responsible for the safety and logistics of their events.

Participation in any run is at your own risk. Always assess your own fitness level and follow local regulations. RunClubs is not liable for injuries, accidents, or damages that occur during runs listed on the platform.

6. Pro subscriptions and payments

RunClubs offers a free tier and a paid Pro tier for club organizers. Pro unlocks features such as unlimited recurring runs, priority listing, club analytics, and partner management.

New clubs may receive a 14-day free trial of Pro. No payment information is required for the trial. After the trial ends, your club automatically returns to the free tier.

Paid subscriptions are processed through Mollie, a licensed payment provider. Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your club dashboard. After cancellation, Pro features remain active until the end of your current billing period.

Lifetime plans are a one-time payment and do not renew. Prices are in euros and include VAT where applicable. We may adjust pricing with at least 30 days notice.

7. Third-party services

RunClubs integrates with third-party services such as Clerk and Mollie. Your use of these services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability or practices of third-party services.

8. Limitation of liability

RunClubs is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by Dutch law, RunClubs and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

This does not affect any rights you have under mandatory Dutch or EU consumer protection laws.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via the platform or email. Continued use of RunClubs after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
